- Three paper recyclers –Blak, his mistress Bambola and their friend I Don Dance- squat in an abandoned terrace in the outskirts of an Andean city. One night, two fantastic beings -Exterminating Angel and Moon Captain- plant in their dreams a desire to travel to The Door of Forgiveness and pay tribute to Virgin Wolf, an enigmatic female deity. During this iniciation voyage, the recyclers undergo a series of transformations through which they live out idealized versions of themselves. At one point during the religious festivities, Moon Captain shoots Exterminating Angel and the recyclers are left on their own. They will make it back to the city, but things will not be quite the same when they arrive.
